Aside from the benefit of reaching people instantly with content by posting a direct link to your website and/or to specific pages within your website that relate to your content, this will help you get your URL listed in search results as well. If your content is about a specific topic, link directly to the page on your website that contains the pertinent information. This will keep them from bouncing when they can’t find the info you’ve discussed.
- Backlinks
Do you know someone with a website that is not directly about Enagic but exists in our niche? Ask them to link to your website! More links = More listings/traffic. Alternately, you can search the internet for places you can link back your website from. Be creative and don’t be shy, reach out to others in the spirit of creating some kind of partnership. While you search and visit websites, if you find broken links, contact the website to notify them to replace the link. Then, pitch your site as a replacement. It’s that simple! - Published Content
As mentioned above, you can also write interesting, useful quality content (never a sales pitch), your high-quality content needs to be original and demonstrate expertise, authority, and trustworthiness. Then, look for trusted places to share your content; like blogs, message boards, reddit, and article directories and get content published there. Most, if not all, will allow you to include a URL in your profile. Be sure to optimize that! Don’t forget the occasional press release, which is a great way to circulate content, links and grab some attention. A press release enables your website to communicate changes, events and news relating to your company. However, it needs to be written for SEO. Google it and learn how to do this the right way!
- Advertising
Now when it comes to gaining traffic, placing ads online is the quickest way to get some instant action! But, don’t neglect your SEO efforts we’ve discussed above. It can take some time to get ranked, but once you do you’ll be gaining free exposure for the lifetime of your website. With that said… ads cost money!
